Senior HR Advisor

As a Senior HR Advisor at VDH Company, you will have your own portfolio with three of our six business units. You will be the first point of contact for managers and employees and actively contribute to HR issues and organizational development. You work closely with your fellow HR Advisor and report to the HR Manager. 

You have a broad role with both operational and tactical responsibilities. You advise, coordinate, and execute, with plenty of room for your own input and projects.  
This role allows you to make an impact and continue developing yourself.

Your daily tasks include: 

• Advising and collaborating with business unit managers and team leaders in areas such as employability, performance, development, and absenteeism; 

• Identifying bottlenecks and opportunities within your business units and acting proactively on them; 

• Initiating, coordinating, and executing HR projects, focusing on strategic personnel management and sustainable employability; 

• Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policy within your business units; 

• Analyzing HR data to continuously improve and secure HR processes within the organization.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Senior HR Advisor who recognizes themselves in the following points: 

• You have a Bachelor's work and thinking level; 

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position; 

• Knowledge and experience in employment law, absenteeism counseling, and strategic personnel management. 

• A strong personality who can easily switch between different levels in the organization, is a team player but can also work well independently on projects;  

• Proactive and solution-oriented attitude, providing requested and unsolicited advice to the business unit managers; 

• Willingness to travel between different locations, such as Dirksland, Ridderkerk, and Moerdijk; 

• Experience with AFAS is a plus.
